Grand Challenges, Feminist Answers

Feminist organization theories develop knowledge about how organizations and processes of organizing shape are shaped by gender, in intersection with race, class other forms social inequality. The politics within management studies tend to marginalize silence feminist theorizing on organizations, so the field misses out interdisciplinary, sophisticated conceptualizations reflexive modes situated production provided work. To highlight contributions theories, I discuss answers three grand challenges that contemporary face: inequality, technology climate change. These entail a systematic critique dominant capitalist patriarchal perpetuate complex intersectional inequalities. Importantly, goes beyond mere critique, offering alternative value systems unorthodox approaches organizational change, providing radically different ways knowing necessary tackle challenges. paper develops an aspirational ideal sketching contours we can organize for equality, emancipatory technologies enact ethics care human natural world.
